July Phase for PRC

Woo hoo! We made it through June! Here’s what’s next…..

July Hours:

  • Sunday 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  • Monday Thursday 8:00 am – 9:00 pm
  • Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Saturday 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

Upon entering Pelham Racquet Club, please follow the bike racks to the front of the clubhouse. It is very important that everyone checks in at the tables and that you do not step over the rope path. Thank you!

Regular Play

We are no longer charging members the $5 fee, your membership starts back July 1. If you have any questions related to membership, please call 205.621.3380.

Non-members – Please pay over the phone ahead of playing to save time. You may also come in the building to pay. Your court reservations along with the names on your court will be at one of tables outside the front door of the clubhouse. Please check your court assignment there and then you can go straight to the court! Please practice social distancing while looking for your court reservation. There will be several copies placed around so you can spread out to view your court assignment. We will come out to the courts to make sure all parties listed are present. If anyone owes a daily fee, we will need to collect that before playing.

USTA Matches

Your match assignments will also be at one of the tables outside the front door of the clubhouse, so after checking this you can go straight to the court as well. If anyone on your team owes money, we will call you the day of your match to remind you. We will need everyone on your team to pay for their membership or league fee before playing. If you are unsure if you have anyone that owes, please call 205.621.3380 to find out.

If anyone needs to come inside to check in, we will list that on the match assignment sheet.

You may come inside to make a purchase (racquet stringing, grips, balls, dampeners, etc).

Captains, please inform your players as well as the other team of the policies and procedures we have so everyone is prepared.

The clubhouse is open on a limited basis. The max occupancy is 15, the bottom floor restrooms in the clubhouse have a max of 3 people. The showers and locker rooms are closed. You may come in the building to make a payment or use the restroom.

Second floor restrooms are accessible from the upstairs door outside.

There is a set of restrooms in the kiosk on the bottom tier courts.

We do encourage you to bring your own chair if you are playing or watching. All of our extra chairs and tables are roped off.

There is no ice or coolers available.

Please bring extra water and eat before you play since we are approaching extremely hot temperatures.

The building and restrooms are cleaned every 2 hours and there is hand sanitizer available in all areas of the property.

Please practice social distancing anytime you are not playing and try to as much as you can while you are playing.

In the event of inclement weather, you must go to your car. We can’t allow that many people in the building.

Thank You

You have all made this new normal run smoothly and we can’t thank you enough! We know you have choices, and we are thankful you have chosen to play at Pelham Racquet Club. As cases rise, we want you to know that the safety of our members, guests and employees are the main priority. We will follow state guidelines and recommendations. All of our employees have a health screening that they complete every day before reporting to work.

Please know you can come in the building, we just have to keep the numbers down so we have tried to set up as much outside as we can. So far, this has been great and helped spread out the amount of people in the building at one time.

We will evaluate this on a weekly basis and will send something out if anything changes. Thank you all for your patience!

We hope to see you all soon!
