If you want to learn to play tennis or just want to brush up on your skills, the Pelham Racquet Club has a perfect event for you. Tennis Play Day will be held Saturday, August 6, at 10:00 AM, at the Pelham Tennis Center located at Pelham Park. This free event is open to all ages and all playing levels. "Our main goal is to try to get Pelham residents involved in tennis in a fun and social environment that welcomes everyone. It doesn't matter your playing level. We will try our best to match players by their abilities and tennis experience," said Ryen Valentine, Head Tennis Professional at the Pelham Racquet Club.  "We want people in the community to learn more about the City's tennis programs and opportunities to play. We offer programs for beginners of all ages. By meeting residents who are interested in tennis, or who have possibly been away from tennis for years, we can work to get them involved once again."

For questions regarding Tennis Play Day, please contact the Pelham Racquet Club at (205) 621-3380. Racquets will be available for use, but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have one.
