Q. Can anyone play at the Racquet Club?

A. Yes, the Pelham Racquet Club is a public facility with a daily fee and memberships are available to anyone. Courts may only be reserved by members 24 hours/1 day in advance.

Q. Will I need any special equipment?

A. Players should bring their own racquet and must wear flat-soled shoes. Running shoes and cross trainers may damage the court surface and are not allowed.

Q. What are your hours?

A. The Racquet Club is open daily.

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 am – 9:00 pm; Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Saturday: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm; Sunday: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Special hours on some holidays

Q. What events and programs do you offer?

A. We host tournaments for different levels and categories such as USTA at the local, state and sectionals level. We also host a women’s professional tournament along with fun events and socials.

Q. Do you have a Pro Shop?

A. Yes, we offer stringing services, equipment and apparel. Our stringers on staff are Ryen Valentine & Joseph Bobba.

Q. Do you offer lessons?

A. Yes, lessons are available by appointment. Please contact us at 205.621.3380 for further information.

Q. Are practice facilities available during tournament play?

A. Yes, a set of nine hard courts is available at the Pelham Tennis Center, approximately two miles from the Pelham Racquet Club.
