  • Masters in Education - (K-12) English for Speakers of Other Languages, University of Alabama at Birmingham, 2004

Professional/Community Involvement

  • Dedicated educator for 28 years in Shelby County, including 22 years serving Pelham Schools
  • Currently Tier 2/3, ESL Instructional Specialist for Pelham City Schools
  • Collaborates with teachers, administrators, and families to strengthen instructional practices, improve student achievement, and ensure access to learning opportunities
  • Member of the Curriculum and Instruction Team, providing professional development and instructional coaching
  • Contributes to many community outreach initiatives, specifically Pelham in the Park for Pelham City Schools, families, and the community
  • Demonstrates a sustained commitment to education, service, and collaborative leadership
  • Volunteer Coach for Pelham Youth Cheer Program, 2005-2011
