The Pelham Polar Plunge is an annual Alabama Law Enforcement Torch Run event hosted by the Pelham Police Department at Oak Mountain State Park. It raises money for more than 15,000 Special Olympics Alabama athletes.
The Pelham Polar Plunge is held in January each year. It has grown into a premiere event and is one of ALETR's largest fundraisers of the year. The 2022 plunge raised more than $20,000.
